OMD has been a specialist in third-party turning based on drawings for medium- large production batches , even for complex parts, for 50 years. The experience gained in the field as a mechanical turning shop for the production of precision gears allows us to offer a service with increasingly higher standards during each phase of the process.

Sliding head lathes
The company today has 15 Star sliding headstock lathes with bar passage from Ø3 to Ø32 and 2 Mazak lathes with bar passage up to Ø65:

Our constantly updated machine park allows us to work with very high precision and great flexibility, to meet the needs of the customer. Our sliding headstock lathes , equipped with rear spindle and motorized axial and radial turrets, make it possible to completely process the part without further manipulation, thus avoiding possible damage and reducing the possibility of errors. The management of CNC turning processes and rigorous quality control allow us to guarantee the customer the conformity of each order.
